KU Leuven is  highly innovative, stimulating, and unique place to do research. 

According to Reuters, KU Leuven is N°5 on the 'Reuters Top 100: The World's Most Innovative Universities - 2017' list. 

And it is also the first European one on the list!

As of 2016 KU Leuven employs 13.133 people, of which 1.747 tenured academic staff and 1712 postdoctoral staff. 

During 2015-2016, 744 academic PhD degrees were awarded, of which 40% to non-Belgian researchers.
